The Great Sand Dunes National Park is one of the most unique attractions in Colorado.  The Dunes are nestled up against the Sangre De Cristo mountain range and rise as high as 300 ft. above the San Luis Valley floor.  Located South of the San Luis Valley Campground, it is a bit of a drive, but is well worth the trip.  Make a day of it and enjoy this truly unique attraction.  more info

The Sand Dunes Pool is fun for the whole family and a great way to unwind after a day at the Sand Dunes.  Artesian water, a full concessions area and great customer service make the Sand Dunes Pool one of the nicest stops in the San Luis Valley.  more info
